Bath Golf Club is one of the finest and oldest golf clubs in England. It was established in the year 1880 and quickly developed its fame as a welcoming club. It is beautiful with its stunning views. It is 7600 yards away from the back trees and measures about two par 5s over 650 yards. The standard scratch of the course is 77 from the tiger trees. It has 18 holes.

This Golf Course initially in the year 1880 was known as The Warren on Bath’s Hampton Down contained only 9 holes and greens were protected from the grazing animals by a fence. In the year 1883 its name was changed to the Bath and Kings down Golf Club. This name was continued till 1890 and was finally changed to Bath Golf Club. The Sham Castle was built during Bath’s 18th century heyday on the request of Ralph Allen. It is an impressive baronial hall. It lies adjoining the golf club. He could look the castle from the window of his town home.
